Terms of Service
Last updated 24 August 2026. These Terms are a binding agreement between you (“you”, “Customer”) and HolicNode (“HolicNode”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, buying a plan, or sending traffic through our network you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
HolicNode provides remote DDoS mitigation and proxying for game servers and other TCP/UDP applications. Your traffic reaches your origin through an anycast edge, filtering volumetric and protocol attacks before they arrive. We are an independent reseller: the mitigation is delivered on top of a third-party network (including Cloudflare Spectrum) and depends on that network's capacity and availability. We do not represent, and are not affiliated with, any upstream provider.
No mitigation service can guarantee that every attack will be absorbed or that your service will never be disrupted. Protection is provided on a commercially reasonable, best-effort basis.
2. Your account
- You must give accurate account and billing information and keep your contact email current — it is where renewal, security and service notices are sent.
- You are responsible for your credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- You must be able to form a binding contract and, where a minor, have a parent or guardian's consent.
3. Acceptable use
You may only route traffic for services you own or are authorised to operate. You must not use HolicNode to, or to support anyone who would:
- break any applicable law, or infringe anyone's rights;
- originate or relay attacks, floods, scanning, or other malicious or abusive traffic;
- operate or distribute malware, botnets, command-and-control, phishing, or fraud;
- host or proxy content that is illegal where you or your users are, including child sexual abuse material;
- evade usage limits, security controls, or bans, or create multiple accounts to abuse trials or promotions;
- resell, sublicense, or share the service without our written permission.
We may refuse, suspend, or remove any service that breaches this section, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities or upstream providers.
4. Fair use & capacity
Each proxy group includes a monthly traffic allowance (currently 10 TB per group). Usage that is abnormal, sustained far above your plan, or that threatens the stability of the shared network may be rate-limited, may require an upgrade, or may be suspended. We will try to reach you first where circumstances allow.
5. Fees & billing
- Plans are billed in advance, per service, at the price shown when you signed up. We will not raise the price of a running service mid-term.
- Payment is taken through PayPal or a card processor. You authorise the charge for each renewal you start.
- Prices for future terms may change; any change applies only from your next renewal.
- Any taxes, duties, or payment fees imposed on you are your responsibility.
6. Renewals, grace & non-payment
- Renewing adds time from your current expiry, so you never lose days you have already paid for. Ports on one machine renew together as a group.
- After a due date there is a grace period with reminders, during which your service and its public address are held so your players' address does not change.
- A paid service is not cut off automatically the moment it lapses. However, after prolonged non-payment we may suspend or remove it; once removed, its public port is released and cannot be guaranteed back.
7. Free trials & promotions
- Free trials are for new accounts and are limited to one per account and per network.
- A trial ends automatically at the close of the free period unless you convert it to a paid plan; if you convert it, your remaining trial time is kept and the paid term is added on top.
- Promo and subscriber codes are single-use and non-transferable. We may withdraw a trial or promotion, and take down the service it created, where it is abused.
8. Refunds
Because capacity is reserved on your behalf, fees are generally non-refundable, and any one-time or setup fee is non-refundable. Where we are genuinely unable to deliver a service you paid for, we may, at our discretion, issue a credit or refund for the affected period. Chargebacks filed without first contacting us are treated as a breach of these Terms.
9. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard or by contacting us. Your service continues until the end of the term you have paid for; we do not refund the unused portion unless stated otherwise.
10. Suspension & termination
We may suspend or terminate your service immediately for a breach of these Terms, unlawful use, fraud or a chargeback, or where your traffic puts the network at risk. On termination the edge application is removed and its public port released; if you return later, a new address is assigned.
11. Availability
We aim for very high availability, backed by the upstream network's own service levels. Availability is measured at our edge and does not cover problems at your origin server or network, issues with your own configuration, third-party outages, scheduled maintenance, or events beyond our reasonable control. Any service credit we offer for confirmed edge downtime is your sole and exclusive remedy and must be requested in writing within 30 days.
12. Your origin & security
Hiding your origin only works if you keep it hidden. You are responsible for securing your origin server, restricting it to our edge, and not exposing its real address elsewhere (DNS records, server lists, screenshots, or misconfiguration). We are not liable for exposure caused by your own setup.
13. Privacy & data
We collect the account details you give us (such as name and email), billing records, and connection and traffic metadata needed to run and protect the service. Your traffic passes through the edge for filtering; we do not inspect application content beyond what mitigation requires, and we do not sell your data. Lawful requests and abuse investigations are the exceptions. Questions about your data can be sent to the contact below.
14. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including that the service will block every attack, be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HolicNode is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including lost revenue, players, goodwill, or data, arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us for the affected service in the three months before the claim.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HolicNode harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your content or traffic, or your breach of these Terms.
17. Third-party networks
The service relies on infrastructure operated by third parties, including Cloudflare Spectrum. Their terms, capacity and availability affect the service. HolicNode is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, nor speaks for, any upstream provider.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts there have jurisdiction over any dispute. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
